Changes in Local Sales and Use Tax Rates – Effective July 1, 2019

MAY 22, 2019 (LINCOLN, NEB.) — Tax Commissioner Tony Fulton announced the following changes in local sales and use tax rates for the upcoming quarter starting on July 1, 2019.

The villages of Coleridge, Nehawka, and Wauneta will each start a local sales and use tax at the rate of 1%, and the city of St. Edward will increase its local sales and use tax rate to 1.5%.

These changes are on the Nebraska Department of Revenue’s website at revenue.nebraska.gov under the Sales and Use Tax link.
